Inspiration can strike at any time. If that happens, jump on it. Write things down, doodle, or even better, build a prototype.
One evening while I was contemplating a project opportunity, I noticed the way I was swirling my wine glass. It sat on a smooth felt coaster. Due to the low friction, I was easily able to move it in small circles. And with that, Swirlit was born. I know what you’re going to say. “Doesn’t the glass tip over?” The answer is no, because in the production version, the rotation speed would be much lower than the animation suggests. It takes very little effort to get the wine going! How cool would it be to have some LED lights underneath and make it look like it was floating.
